Through the Homebuilders Care program we were able to provide Adsum House for Women & Children a new set of kitchen cabinets, along with cabinetry for the office area.
Through the donation of Cabinetworks Ltd. Adsum now has more storage for their kitchen which creates a greater use of space. The new cabinets in the office area now allow for greater ease in the organization's function.
A special presentation was made today at Adsum House to recognize the work of the Homebuilders Care Program and Cabinetworks for making this renovation a success. |

This year's Homebuilders’ Care project is the Halifax Regional Search and Rescue Command Centre in Lakeview. This renovation will allow the Search and Rescue to park all their response vehicles together in one location, speeding up response time in case of an emergency.

The employees of Econo Renovations were instrumental in the 1st annual Homebuilders’ Care project. Our carpenters, painters and sub trades were on the job of creating a new kitchen for the Wee Care Development project from start to finish. We know they will enjoy this space for years to come and we’re proud to be a part of it. Watch Video

We held our 2nd annual outdoor party fundraiser in August 2008. This year we coordinated with Sherry and Shannon of the NSHBA to raise funds for the Joints in Motion Arthritis Society campaign. After a rainy start, the party went off without a hitch and a great time was had by all, raising $2500 for the cause.

In 2005, we held an outdoor party, raising $4000 for the Boys & Girls club to help them toward their goal of buying a new van. We plan on making this an annual event for various groups within our community that need our support.

In 2007, we started a scholarship program for the children of our employees who enroll in post secondary education programs. We also held a fund raiser for one of employees who was disabled by a heart problem and could not work. It was dubbed “Miss Econo Renovations Pageant 2007” and a great time was had by all as we raised funds to help support one of our own through a very trying time.
